Azora Coffee Co. is a small business in Houston, Texas. We collect only what we need to get your order to you, and we don't sell your information.

When you order

Checkout and payment are handled by Square. We never see or store your card details. Square shares your name, email, phone number and shipping address with us so we can ship your order and contact you about it. Square's own privacy notice covers how it handles your payment. If you pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay on our pages, Apple or Google passes your payment to Square as a one-time token, along with the name, email, phone number and shipping address you choose in the payment sheet, which we use only for that order.

We email you about your order (a thank-you, your tracking number, later a request for a review, and for coffee a single reminder a few weeks on in case you're running low). If you choose local pickup, we use your mobile number only to text you about collecting it. Your thank-you email includes a personal referral link; when a friend orders with it, we see that the order came from your link so we can send you your thank-you code. These emails are sent through our email provider, Resend, which handles your email address only to deliver them.

Harvest news

If you join our list, we keep your email address to tell you about new harvests. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or write to azoracoffeeco@gmail.com and we'll remove you.

Welcome offer

If you claim a welcome code, we keep your email address with the code so each person gets one, and note when it has been used. Claiming one also adds you to harvest news, which you can leave at any time.

Back-in-stock emails

If you ask to hear when a sold-out product is back, we keep your email for that one message only. It doesn't add you to harvest news, and we delete it once we've written.

Reviews

If you leave a review, we show it on our site with the name you choose, after we've read it. We don't ask for or show your email address.

Your cart

Your cart, any promo code and any gift message are saved in your own browser so they're still there when you come back. They're only sent to us when you check out.

Site statistics and advertising

We use Cloudflare's privacy-friendly analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies or track you across other websites.

We also use the Google tag from Google Ads, which sets cookies so we can tell whether our ads lead to purchases. When you buy, it tells Google that an order was placed and its value, never your name, email, address or card. Google's own privacy policy covers how it handles this data. You can turn off personalized ads at adssettings.google.com, or block these cookies in your browser.

Keeping the site safe

To stop spam, our server briefly counts how often each internet address uses our forms and checkout. These counts are kept for minutes in memory and never stored or shared. We keep private backups of our records (such as the harvest news list) so nothing is lost; only we can open them.
